One of the most surprising findings in our report is the rise of Thursdays as the most popular day for in-office work. With 66% of employees choosing to work from the office on this day, it’s clear that businesses are scheduling key meetings, collaborative projects, and in-person work for later in the week. In contrast, Mondays, once associated with kicking off the week in the office, have seen a shift, with only 59% of employees present.
Fridays have become a day of ultimate flexibility, with only 21% of employees working from the office. Instead, a staggering 62% are working from home, signaling the widespread adoption of more flexible work arrangements towards the end of the week. Employees seem to be using Fridays to focus on individual tasks and wrap up their week remotely, providing a smoother transition into the weekend.
The flexibility to choose where we work not only enhances productivity but also supports a healthier work-life balance. By giving employees control over their environment, organizations can attract top talent, reduce burnout, and foster a more engaged workforce.
